Is Eating Fava Beans A Political Statement? Well... probably not. But buying locally grown food at a farmer's market might be. Or it might just be a friendly, fun way to get some good food.

    Grown them for many years, they will germinate in cool wet soils when other beans rot. So plant in late Feb- early Mar. and enjoy an early veg.
