Declining Coverage at the State Capitol

There's a worrying trend at the State Capitol, fewer and fewer government reporters. The MSM is faced with declining revenues because of cheaper advertising on the internet and they're shedding reporters in an attempt to reduce costs. Yikes!

TVW's news program "The Impact" covers the story:

It's already tough staying on top of what's going on in State government. This trend toward fewer reporters isn't going to help. Let's hope that bright minds will figure out how to make internet political reporting pay, so that we can all have the information we need to keep our democracy operating the way it's supposed to.
