After days of feeling angry and insulted by the smear tactics of Bush's Swiftboat-vet hit-team and the stupidly excessive media coverage of them and their rightwing 'journalist' co-conspirators, I'm just tired of the noise. There's one simple question that settles whether or not the "Swiftboat vets for 'truth'" are worth listening to: IF there were really any question about John Kerry's valor or honesty during his service in Vietnam, wouldn't Nixon have assigned someone to bring it up before Kerry testified to the Senate? Remember, back in '71 John O'Neill debated John Kerry and never questioned his service.
