PDC Complaint Filed - Groen's mystery money

As if it weren't bad enough that Right-wing groups are trying to purchase a seat for Groen on the Washington State Supreme Court, now it appears they're breaking our laws in the attempt.
Majority Rules Blog Files Public Dislosure Commission Complaint Against Groen Supporters

... Zemke's complaint is based on violation of RCW 42.17.020 (43) which states that the "Sponsor of an electioneering communications, independent expenditures, or political advertising" means the person paying for the electioneering communication, independent expenditure, or political advertising. If a person acts as an agent for another or is reimbursed by another for the payment, the original source of the payment is the sponsor."

The sponsor not the agent needs to be identified under Washington law. Americans Against Frivolous Lawsuits is obviously just a phony name to hide the true identity of the funds.

Because this election will be decided in the Sept 19, 2006 primary Zemke asks that the PDC tell Americans Tired of Lawsuit Abuse to immediately identify to the public the source of their funding. ...

Whoa now buddy. You're telling me that it is ok for republicans with untold "trillions" of dollars should be able to bypass laws of our states and dump millions into local campaign ads in order to get what they want accomplished without equal representation on the other side?
Our GDP is Trillions. Go look to see how many "trillions" are spent in our health care.
In 2004, Americans as a whole spent about 1.9 Trillion on health care. By your argument, this was done because of tort abuses? Health care is a major concern! I know that our system is screwed, but every system is screwed, especially those who "give" you health care "for free." From the NCHC, "Experts agree that our health care system is riddled with inefficiencies, excessive administrative expenses, inflated prices, poor management, and inappropriate care, waste and fraud. These problems significantly increase the cost of medical care and health insurance for employers and workers and affect the security of families." Weird how they didn't mention frivolous lawsuits. I just really find it comical that you base your entire argument consistently on lawsuits. Why?
What about business ethics? Fraud? Not controlling expenses?
What ever happened to running a business more efficiently, including the insurance companies?
What ever happened to being responsible for your own actions?

I am not a genius nor do I claim to know all the facts. To me, however, this is really a one sided thought process.

When the poster asked for these pacs to obey the law and disclose who is funding these pacs, I don't think s/he meant "I wonder which profession is wanting this bill passed or these certain judges or politicians in office." I think s/he meant for citizens to obey our laws and make sure things are fair and legal and NAME those who are giving MILLIONS or hundreds of thousands to Washington politicians, especially when they are from out of state!
If you're all for that, I question your loyalty to Washington State.
