Again this year the 42nd Legislative District Democrats had a booth at the annual Whatcom County Old Settlers Picnic in Ferndale.The Old Settlers Picnic is actually more like a fair than a picnic and runs for four days. Hundreds of people stopped at our booth to ask questions or just to say Hi and chat about politics.
Impeachment, ending the occupation of Iraq, fixing health care and local growth/sprawl were the most popular topics of discussion.

it was great! thanks Debi, Bertella, Steve Oliver(running for County Treasurer) Robin, Jim and Deb(buttons were as usual a huge hit and drew them in to our booth) and Ozy you slash/DLC button was a really big hit with a fella who wanted most to distinguish himself as a real lib as opposed the right wing dinos(democrats in name only) who have so corrupted our party. lot's of good chat, food and fun!
