ThinkProgess.org has the news. In a speech this morning, Bush criticized Senate Democrats for setting aside the Defense Authorization bill. He used the same lame construct that Senate Republicans McCain and Kyl used a few days ago. His argument, that Democrats were preventing the troops from getting a pay raise. But what makes his assertion doubly lame is that in May he threatened to veto the House version of the bill because it contained a pay raise for the troops.
These Republican politicians are such piles of steaming hypocrisy!
