we had the chance to have coffee with some local John Edwards supporters today. as i listened to others talk about why they supported his nomination a couple of things resonated strongly with me. people feel strongly that Edwards understands who we are up against, he states it clearly and he is willing to fight. and i certainly believe we will always have to fight this fight. right now the corporatists are winning. and they have no interest in "let's all get along." they use marketing to put a friendly face on their corporatist agenda to herd us all along. no surprise the corporate media acts as tho John Edwards doesn't exist. and several people mentioned his personal commitment to this fight. at a time his wife is ill, their family decided it was important to continue. i'm not sure many would make that decision.click HERE to contact Whatcom4Edwards.
i look forward to caucus on Feb 9th. the delegate count so far is still close. our delegate counts may be very important.
