Well Folks: What do you think the priority is for the Republican controlled "House Ways and Means Committee, Subcommittee on Oversight".
Is it investigating questionable tax shelters?
Could it be shady corporate accounting?
How about unreported executive compensation?
Oh No!
Last Thursday (July 15, 2004) the subcommittee had a Hearing to Review the IRS Enforcement of the Reporting of Tip Income. That's right! Those Waitpersons and Beauticians might be making off with an untaxed buck or two.
