New Officers For 42nd LD Democrats

Today, new officers were elected by the 42nd Legislative District Democrats.

There was an exciting three way race for Chair.

Chair candidates answer questions: left to right - SueEllen Lawton, Bellingham - Vicki McClure, Blaine - Rick LaFave, Ferndale.

And when all the vote counting was done, the new executive board of the 42nd LD Democrats is:

Chair - SueEllen Lawton

Vice Chair - Steve Lydolph

Secretary - Kathy Hopkins

Treasurer - Sherry Zeilstra

State Committee Woman - Janet Lutz-Smith

State Committee Man - Richard May

And then, as an added treat; the two candidates for Chair of the WA State Democratic Party, Dwight Pelz and Mark Hintz stopped in for an hour (plus) Q&A session.

Dwight is the current Chair of the WA State Democratic Party and Mark just finished a term as Chair of the Snohomish County Democrats. The election of a new State Party Chair will take place later this month at the State Central Committee meeting.
